Rupert Holmes’ Tony™ award-winning (Best Musical, Best Book, Best Music, Best Lyrics) musical

	returns to Broadway this fall in the Roundabout Theatre production directed by Scott Ellis, with a cast starring the legendary Chita Rivera!
	Meanwhile in London, the highly-praised Landor Theatre's production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood is moving to the West End's Arts Theatre.

	Rupert Holmes' Edgar award-winning Broadway comedy thriller Accomplice will make its Chinese language world premiere this December at the spectacular Shanghai Grand Theatre. (The play has already been performed in Italian, Greek and Swedish translations in Rome, Turin, Athens and Stockholm.)

	Holmes’ dramatic stage adaptation of John Grisham’s A Time to Kill enjoyed a hit 2011 run at Washington D.C.’s prestigious Arena Stage and is slated for Broadway in the 2012-2013 season. Watch here for further casting news.

		The incomparable Vanessa Williams has just recorded Rupert Holmes’ most recent composition “A Lullaby for Midnight” for the new Over the Moon CD and illustrated book, featuring new songs by some of Broadway’s brightest talents, sung by some of its most remarkable vocalists, illustrated by some of its finest artists. 		Barry Manilow's new CD and DVD release "Live in London" features a new recording of the Rupert Holmes standard, "Studio Musician" -- a long-time Manilow fan favorite.

	Watch here for significant news about the upcoming Rupert Holmes-Alan Zachary-Michael Weiner musical based on the movie Secondhand Lions. 	Holmes’ Tony-nominated play Say Goodnight, Gracie (winner of the National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Play) concluded a sold-out revival off-Broadway in January of 2012 and is currently on its fourth national tour, now starring Joel Rooks.

		Holmes’ Broadway musical Curtains (written with Broadway legends Kander and Ebb), which earned Holmes the New York Drama Desk Award, is enjoying critical acclaim here in United States and around the world. Highlights include productions at the Papermill Playhouse, Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars and also foreign language productions in Japan, Germany and the Czech Republic! Marvin Hamlisch and Rupert Holmes (songwriting team for the upcoming musical based on Jerry Lewis’s classic film comedy The Nutty Professor) created a special production number for the Career Transition for Dancers 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee. The number (entitled "I'm Really Dancing") was performed by a once-in-a-lifetime cast that included Angela Lansbury, Chita Rivera, Karen Ziemba, Charlotte d’Amboise, Ann Reinking, Randy Skinner and legend-among-legends Marge Champion.

	Novels and Short Stories	The best-selling mystery anthology Christmas at the Mysterious Bookshop, featuring Holmes’ novella “The Long Winter’s Nap” is now available in soft cover edition from Vanguard Press.

	His award-winning novels for Random House, Where the Truth Lies (made into a major motion picture starring Colin Firth and Kevin Bacon) and Swing (reaching #24 of all books at Amazon.com) are now available in both Kindle Editions and iPad format.

		Holmes’ novels now have their own British editions, published by Alison and Busby in trade paperback and mass paperback editions. His first novel was deemed “brilliant” by the London Times and made their Book Group choice novel. Holmes’ second novel is also published under its alternate British title The Musician’s Daughter.
