WASHINGTON (Feb. 1, 2006)--Charles Dickens’s final novel is brought to life in American University’s Greenberg Theatre presentation of The Mystery of Edwin Drood at 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10 – Saturday, Feb. 11 and 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 – Saturday, Feb. 18.

This Tony Award winning musical by Rupert Holmes is an energetic comedy based on Dickens’s unfinished mystery novel. In this interactive performance, the audience participates in the story by helping the performers choose an ending. The performers are prepared to act and sing more than 600 possible endings. This production is directed by Karl Kippola, professor of theatre, American University.
