With a script by Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes, Swango depicts one unique night of dance, romance, revelry and rivalry within and between two very different worlds. Forever Tango star Mariela Franganillo and four-time International Swing Dance Champion Robert Royston (Swing!), both choreographic “masters of tango and swing, respectively, under the tight directive rein of Tony Stimac,” (NEWSDAY) lead a cast of international award-winning dance teams who unite to create a new and thrilling dance form fusing Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing.
